International Raffles

With Eventgroove Fundraising, you can fundraise around the world!  We allow many countries to run fundraising experiences on our platform.  There are always extra legalities surrounding raffles, and it is your responsibility to ensure your organization is following all regulations, local and regional. 

Eventgroove Fundraising is geared towards nonprofit organizers, and we do only allow charity or nonprofit organizations to run raffles.  If you are outside the United States, we'll ask for documentation of your legal status as a nonprofit or charity organization.  This documentation could be a certificate from the government or a screenshot from a charity register online, for example.

Below are some specifics for Canada and UK:

Canada:

·         A screenshot or link of your organization's profile on the List of Charities: List of charities and certain other qualified donees - basic search (cra-arc.gc.ca)

·         Another form of verification, such as a legal document or government webpage, that will verify your organization's charitable status

UK:

·         A screenshot or link of your organization's profile on the Register of Charities: Search the charity register - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

·         Another form of verification, such as a legal document or government webpage, that will verify your organization's charitable status

Other Countries:  Documentation showing your legal status as a nonprofit or charity org.
